Hasenclever Iron Trail is marked on 2004, which goes from Long Pond Ironworks State Park to Ringwood State Park, building on the historic route of Ramapo Iron ore from mine to furnace to ironmaster. The historic district, including Long Pond Ironworks and Rinwood State Park, has over fifty mine sites and was the heart of iron mining for nearly two hundred years. Some of the furnaces still stand for visiting, which include the Wawayanda furnace, the Clinton frunace, and the Southfields furnace, etc.
